< CLOSE WINDOW TO GO BACK TO BOSS CALENDAR MAIN >

My first calendar. Back then, I could count on Eric Freimanis to send me a bunch of models and I could pick and choose. I had more time to work on the layout and didn't have to worry about begging for photographs. But as the years progressed and the calendar became more popular, vendors, when they bought an ad, would ask me to use one of their models on the month with their ad. Sometimes I got good photos, sometimes not so good. But I used them - they were paying! Each ad ran for $750 in product and by the time I did my last one, I was getting $1500 in product.
